BACK LIFT
In back lift surgery, an incision is made that extends from the breasts to the midline of the back. In what cases is back lift surgery performed?
- When viewed from the back, excess tissue is visible in the direction of the armpits,
- When there is a breast shape with fuzzy borders that extends backwards when viewed from the front,
- When the back appears wrinkled due to excess weight,
- If the person is slim, but the skin has a strong loss of elasticity, sagging and wrinkles and furrows,
- When the back is slack due to a large weight gain and loss,
- In postbariatric patients,
- If the breasts sag again due to back sagging despite breast lift, a back lift is performed.
During the back lift, excess skin and fat on the back are removed, wrinkles and the back contour are corrected. The scar formed after the procedure remains hidden in the bra and bikini.
