EYEBROW LIFT
Aesthetic eyebrow lift is a procedure performed with two incisions through the scalp in the temple area. Through these incisions, the ligaments connecting the eyebrow tail to the bone and the temporal region are released from the area where they adhere to the base and the ligaments are loosened from the outer edge of the eye. Thus, the eyebrow tail is lifted outward and upward. The accumulation and excess skin under the eyebrow are eliminated. Depending on the patient's expectation, an oblique eye position is achieved. Eyebrow lift is performed according to the patient's needs. If the patient's eyebrows are sunken, or if the eyelash-eyebrow distance is too small, this area is given a dynamic and younger look by lifting the eyebrows regardless of the patient's age. Eyebrow lift is an operation that can also be performed in combination with eyelid aesthetics. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and lasts 2 hours on average. The healing time of the patients is from 1 week to 10 days.
For patients who are very old and already have many wrinkles on their face, an eyebrow lift is performed by removing excess skin from the upper edge of the eyebrow. Since the resulting scar is both hidden by the eyebrow hairs and runs parallel to the other wrinkles on the forehead, it is not noticeable. The eyebrow lift is a very simple procedure that can be performed in 30 minutes under local anesthesia.
