CANTHOPLASTY (CAT EYE SURGERY)
Canthoplasty, also called cat eye surgery, is the name of the surgical procedure used to create the popular cat eye look where the inner and outer parts of the eye are aligned with each other. Almond eyes or cat eyes are preferred because they give a younger, healthier, fresher and more attractive appearance. After a healing period of 1 to 2 days, the patient can resume normal life. The surgery is performed through an incision in the temple area. The average healing time is 5 to 7 days. It is preferred in conjunction with rhinoplasty.
