EYELID SURGERY

EYELID SURGERY

Although it is mainly the skin changes that catch the eye during eyelid cosmetics, these changes are not only observed on the skin. Over the years, the muscle tissue that supports the fatty tissue under the skin also becomes slacker. Here, too, the slackening of the tissue causes bulging in the fat pads. Since conditions such as protrusion of fat and sagging skin make a person look older, more tired and sad, the surgical procedure is performed in the eye area to touch up the tissue in this area.

Cosmetic surgery on the upper eyelid

The sagging of the upper eyelid makes the affected person look and feel more depressed and tired. Therefore, it is very important that our eyes, which are the organ that best communicates our expression, look young and dynamic. General anesthesia is not required for upper eyelid surgery. The eyelid is rejuvenated by removing excess skin, muscle and bulging fatty tissue in the eyelid, hiding the scar in the fold area when the eye is fully open.

Cosmetic surgery on the lower limb

In the case of the lower eyelids, a combined operation is required due to the downward shift of the face, and the midface lift is performed in conjunction with the lower eyelid surgery. However, if the patient is young and the cheeks are in good condition, fat protrusions and fat sacs in the lower eyelid can be easily removed through an incision on the eyelid that is not visible from the outside. In cases where there is only excess skin, only the excess skin is removed without touching the muscles and fat. The healing time is 7 to 10 days for both lower and upper eyelids.
